From Mexico’s Ascension Bay to your favorite fishing grounds, the Palometa (Spanish for "permit") is designed for anglers who need unmatched clarity and all-day comfort. A sized-down version of the Bales Beach, this medium-fit, full-wrap frame offers the perfect balance of coverage and wearability, keeping you locked in on the action.

The vented rubber side shields and keeper holes ensure your shades stay put—even when the fight gets wild. Meanwhile, Bajío’s polarized, high-definition LAPIS™ lenses block harsh blue light and sharpen details so you never miss a moment.

Polarized for Maximum Visibility

When it comes to fishing, hunting, and outdoor vision, the right lenses make all the difference. Palometa is equipped with Bajío’s polarized, color-enhancing lenses, available in glass or polycarbonate:

  • Glass Lenses – Unrivaled optical clarity with superior scratch resistance, designed for harsh sunlight and high-glare environments.
  • Polycarbonate Lenses Lightweight and impact-resistant, built for extended wear and durability.

Both options feature seven lens colors and Bajío’s LAPIS™ blue light-blocking technology, which filters 95% of blue light up to 445 nm, reducing glare, eye strain, and visual fatigue—so you can see sharper, longer.

Tech Angler Collection

Full Wrap | 8-Base

Flex hinges, vents, and side shields, all designed with fish in mind. Looking cool is a luxury we all enjoy, but holding a PB in front of the camera is something enjoyed by few. Often it's by those anglers on the chase, the ones that have been silently grinding away, dinging up props, and getting skunked, all on the quest to find that one fish. We designed 4 frames ranging from small to extra-large for that group of tail chasers. We call it the “Tech Angler” collection.
